Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan

Effective information sharing between institutions with responsibilities for children’s safety and wellbeing, and between those institutions and relevant professionals, is necessary to identify, prevent and respond to incidents and risks of child sexual abuse.

To ensure a robust, national approach, the National Office for Child Safety (NOCS) is co-leading the development of a national child safety and wellbeing information sharing scheme. This work will include targeted consultations with relevant stakeholders with regard to kinship and cultural connections to groups and lands, and alignment with the Closing the Gap Priority Theme Four on Shared Access to Data and information at a Regional Level.
