PM&C has installed 40 ‘Acknowledgement of Country Signs’ in bookable meeting rooms in One National Circuit. The A4 size signs state:
The Department acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to their Cultures, Country and Elders both past and present.
The signs provide a ready prompt for meeting attendees to deliver an Acknowledgement of Country where appropriate. Staff are also provided with an Acknowledgement of Country on their security passes at the time of commencement with PM&C.
