Acknowledgement of Country – Ngunnawal Language Workshops

Staff participated in online and face-to-face workshops designed to teach an Acknowledgment of Country in Ngunnawal (Ngunawal, Ngoonawal) language – the language of the traditional custodians of the ACT and surrounds.

Acknowledgement of Country Signs

PM&C has installed 40 ‘Acknowledgement of Country Signs’ in bookable meeting rooms in One National Circuit.

Beyond Cultural Competency training

In 2020, PM&C was proud to have had 50 employees complete the pilot of our new Beyond Cultural Competency workshop. This workshop, delivered by Arrilla, was designed with a considered focus on the practical skills and knowledge to build cultural competency and support reconciliation.

Jawun Secondments

Since 2011, PM&C has been a proud participant of the APS Jawun Secondment Program. The Jawun Secondment Program has been a rewarding opportunity for PM&C employees to drive important outcomes with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations by sharing our expertise.

Engaging Indigenous Suppliers

PM&C is an active member of Supply Nation and holds regular meetings to explore opportunities to work with Indigenous suppliers. Procurement Team members regularly attend Supply Nation training, workshops, trade shows and webinars.
